Dear Brothers and Sisters
in the Body of Christ;
I would strongly encourage you to promote the Perspectives course in your Sunday morning worship and other gatherings. The 2008 Altoona class had students representing 3 different congregations. (I am praying for a wider range of Altoona churches to be represented in our up coming class). Four of the students from the 2008 class have been on missions trips in the last year. Several others are preparing to be directly involved in missions ventures in the immediate future.
Churches who have sent students to take this course are now blessed by them. Our past students are vitally committed and they are enthusiastic about living-out God’s plan for their lives, our community and for the world. All of us who were involved in the 2008 class are praying for God to move with the Gospel in the Altoona Area. We are praying that a new generation of believers would transform our community and that out of this group missionaries would be sent from Altoona to the vital mission fields of the world.
You can help by downloading and printing the brochure and fliers listed just below this letter. Please feel free to distribute this material in your bulletin and other publications. If you would like a two minute promotional DVD video explaining key concepts from the course please contact me and I will get a copy to you. If you are willing, we can also send past participants of the course to come and speak at your church.
